Makini Corner is a woman-owned studio that creates books, stationery, and gifts designed from inspirations across Tanzania. We develop children and adult storybooks that highlight our beautiful country and culture in the most adventurous way possible. To get the most out of our diverse creativity, Makini Corner curates great story ideas from aspiring Tanzanian authors and brings their work to life through modern book design and promotion.

Additionally, our custom gift designs stem from the patterns seen in Tanzanian-made fabric (predominantly the Kanga). They are used to bring a fresh look to everyday useful and fun items. We provide Safari-themed print work too!
